Learning starts at 8:30am. We ask that children are in the playground by 8.25am for a prompt start to the school day. School finishes at 3pm for Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 and at 3:05pm for Key Stage 2. Morning Playtime

KS1 and KS2 have playtime from 10:30 to 10:45.

Lunchtimes

Early Years Foundation Stage have lunch from 11:30 to 12:30, KS1 from 12 to 1:00pm and KS2 from 12:15 to 1:00pm.

Drop Off and Collection

At the beginning of the school day parents are encouraged to 'drop and go'. Children will walk around to their class entrance in the morning. This helps us to make prompt start to the school day and encourages independence.

Parents are encouraged to walk onto the playground to collect their children at the end of the school day, we want to have good links with all parents. If normal arrangements have to be altered (e.g. you are delayed or another person is collecting your child) please let us know. This avoids any confusion or upset.

If you need to speak to your child’s teacher, please do so after school when you walk round to collect them. If it is urgent, please contact the office.

Getting to School

To get to and from school, walking is the best option! There are many benefits: it is healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road users and it respects nearby residents.

The car park is closed between 8:30 and 9:00am and then 2:45 to 3:15 to ensure the safety of your children.

There is a bike rack and scooter stand for children who ride to school. Please note this will be at your own risk, the school will not be liable for any loss or damages.
