James Dixon Primary school is a community - “It takes a village to raise a child.” Being part of a community means that we take responsibility for each other. Within the classroom we use Kagan structures. Children work together in teams to achieve a learning goal. 

Kagan learning provides a structured approach to learning based on four factors: positive interdependence; individual accountability; equal participation; and simultaneous interaction.
